took a couple of friends

decided to have a little chopping competition. This is 20 swings with each knife.

first up: virgin Basic 11, pretty darned good.

AK-47, swung one handed. Impressive!

IMG950212.jpg

virgin Kill Devil Hawk, not too impressive, but to be fair, could have been his technique and his pinkie was starting to throb.

IMG950214.jpg

his favorite knife, the Satin Battle Rat, pretty impressive considering the pinkie was hurting.

then he decided to baton his Mean Street into the log for a little flexin'

You two are awesome and have just the right amount of fun (Can't have too much fun) :D And I agree with the Kill Devil on chopping, but as a wise man told me, it's a very task specific design.

Very cool pics! I just love chopping wood with my knives and I love seeing others use theirs too. Nice work!! That B11 is a monster blade!

Man I really want AK47 now even though I just bought a Rucki and Waki..............

I know what you mean falar, I've been on a buying streak lately, plus I'm *supposed* to be selling and not buying so I can go to Blade, but this is really making me want a B11...

Holy cow Dave, those pictures of the AK being bent... jesus, that had be more than 45 degrees!

Dan on the busse website there are testing pics of an ak being bent like 270 degrees:eek:
come to think of it i think its the scrapyard scrapizashi and it was in the blade magazine ad.

No thanks, I don't even like the tension of blowing up a balloon really tight lol

Your wife rocks btw, I can't even get my gf to go to Blade with me.
