Chop Off

love the pics. I need to go out and chop something now.

I do it every day now that half the big old trees in the back 40 are blown down. Gotta start going lefty.
Yeah honey, that's why my right forearm is so much bigger than my left. Honest (fingerscrossed)

Have you two had the pleasure of the 1311 yet? That blade is a BEAST of a chopper!!!

Cant wait til my Kill Devil hawk gets here now, tiems a ticking, I gotta be close you would think!!!!!!

Great pics guys!!! Thanks for sharing  SueZQ you rock!
we'll be out on the back 40 again later I am sure, there will be more pics! Thanks Naomi. Hah, now time to do some shopping before we go chopping.

any reason the AK beat out the B11? I'm actually kind of shocked. I don't have an AK, but should the Rodent Rucki then out chop the B11? Just wondering why it did so well...

I was surprised as well. The ak has a more acute edge, tle b11 is factory; very sharp but more obtuse.
I think i was able to get more velocity with the ak as well. Swinging the ak 2 handed did not do nearly as well, as i mentioned earlier.
Don't forget, your results will vary. It has as much to do with technique as the knife.
I need to get me a 1311 to throw in the mix. I don't have many heavy choppers as i have a bum shoulder (torn rotator, plus bursitis in both)
Btw that was very hard heavy wood. Red oak i'm pretty sure.
