These large knives are fun to make and fun to use too. I keep one on my tractor to remove overhanging branches when I travel the old logging roads and mow the edge of the my fields. That one is probably one of the most abused knives that I have kept for myself and when someone asks me "how do you test your knives? ", I usually refer to the one on my tractor that has held up great for years of heavy use.

Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain and uniform hardness throughout the blade
Flat grind with a belt finish
Black canvas Micarta scales with natural Micarta spacers finished to a grippy 50 grit and sculpted for a comfortable grip
12 3/4 inches overall with a 7 5/8 inch blade
Weight is 15.5 ounces
Deep leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

$280 delivered within these United States. Message me for shipping and payment options. (I have quit posting my Email address since scams became part of this site)

Love the blade shape have you made this model with chili jimping ? Looks like it would be pretty good at some fine work if you could choke up on the choil .

Thanks for the comments, guys but can anyone explain what chilli jumping is.

Really like this design - is this the same knife as the link below, just reposted? Or do you have two available, one in 52100 (below) and one in 1095 (above)?

thanks, you are probably right. I have a dislike for autocorrect. :)

Yes it is a repost but I posted the wrong steel ( I have been working almost exclusively with 52100) I will change the posting. Thank you for catching that.

I have one of these, it’s a beast and balanced insanely well. Chops as well as a BK9, and trust me that’s saying something!
