Chopper City

Also, I like the look of my chopper!

It looks like it has a slight re-curve, but that's a good thing for me. In my experience with knives, if you ask for a choil you're usually asking for the re-curve too. It might just be the angle of the picture though.

I like the one with the fillet blade Daniel.

Very sleek and a cool gripping angle on it. Should be nice for some fish prep.

Thanks! It has a tapered tang and I love the way it feels in the hand.

Nice!
The photo makes it look like it has a bit more than it does and the other chopper has some yet doesn't look like it... somehow that bic makes them look smaller than they are, the choppers are huge! . I actually sized them to my kiln, they couldn't heve been 1/4' bigger. :D The recurve will be nice for chopping, they have a lot of weight forward and almost want to chop on their own, lol

I edited the three test videos together...

Does this look like a good test for a chopper? It was a pretty big tree!

The last part is a seasoned hardwood pallet, I whacked it as hard as I could and it took it like a champ.

Here's Tony's chopper next...

I think this is a better test video, I thought about it and included some paper slicing before and after cutting down the tree. I used the choil a bit while chopping and was very happy with it.

The other chopper cuts paper after the test too, I just checked! Still learning, I'm not much of a Director yet! :D

I just posted them in the makers gallery, here are some videos also. I tried to keep them short so they would work with dial up too. :)
