I forged this one from 1/4 inch 5160 because of the steels toughness. This knife that will probably see heavy use
Heat treated in my shop to 59 Rockwell, C scale
Mat finish with a fine Scotch Bright belt
Black canvas Micarta sanded to 120 grit to give it some grip
Overall length: 15 1/8 inch
Blade: 10 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop and tie down

Just slightly. It's a look that I have always liked and I feel it helps when chopping small brush that tends to whip away from the blade.

Loved my Junglas but I sold it when I got a chopper from Gerry, absolutely no regrets on that decision. You won't be disappointed if you are able to snag this!
