Forged from 1/4 inch 52100 steel for toughness
Heat treated in my Paragon furnace using three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 and with a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with a mat finish and forged texture on the flats
Black canvas Micarta handle for toughness with red spacer
Distal tapered tang
Overall length: 14 1/2 inches
Blade: 9 inches
Weight: one pound
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

Money sent and I cannot believe that a beauty like this even lasted this long. I have been away from the forums for a while, so not sure what the knife biz is like anymore.
 
Gerry, I don't remember seeing any of your sheaths with the extended tab on the bottom with the leg thong. Is this a new design for your sheaths, or did I miss some in previous offerings?
 
Just on the big choppers, John. Easy to cut off if the owner doesn't like the leg thong.
 
Oh, and by the way, Cobalt, congratulations on latching on to a real work horse of a knife!

John, thanks. I know. One of my favorite steels on my favorite blade style with my favorite handle material, lol. How could I go wrong.
