52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind finished with a 400 grit belt followed by a cork belt. The secondary grind has an apple seed geometry well suited for chopping. (A filet knife would be much finer and an edge for cutting nails or chopping cement blocks would be heavier.)
Black canvas Micarta handle sculpted for the third and fourth fingers to allow extra grip for chopping. Very comfortable in the hand.
Overall length: 12 7/8 inches
Blade: 7 5/8 inches
Weight: 14.4 ounces
Leather scabbard with a belt loop long enough for a gun belt. Right hand carry
