Hello again. Today, I have a nice big chopper to list. The blade, per usual, is ground from 80CRV2, features a relatively large fuller, and is kiln treated. In theory I've been told, that from an engineering perspective, adding a fuller creates more surface area which provides more strength (or maybe the same) while also reducing weight. Personally, I just think it looks really cool. I did a lot of whacking/chopping with it (into wood) and it holds up good. The handle is paper micarta with g10 pins. The balance point is a little in front of the ricasso. And, finally, the finish on the blade is cold gun bluing.
Specifications:
Overall Length: 15"
Blade Length: 10"
Handle Length: 5 1/2" (measured from top)
Thickness: 1/4"
Width: 2" (at the ricasso)
Weight: 1lb 4oz
Steel: 80CRV2
Handle Material: Paper Micarta
Pin Material: G10
Price = $250 Shipped
