Hey guys! A couple weeks ago I started work on a ridiculous chopper knife, and I'm finally reaching a stage where it looks like the knife I envisioned in my head. I figured I'd should a few WIP pics, and see if I can get a little help with a small issue I'm having.

This is the shaped knife blank in the middle, next to a kukri and another knife I'm working on for scale.

Then there's the blade with a bevel more or less finished up

And the knife with some rough scales temporarily pinned on.

My question is this; how would you guys suggest smoothing out the inside of that finger choil? The curve is a bit too steep to get in there with my belt sander...

If you don't have a small wheel arm/tip for your grinder, you now know why one is a good idea.
A spindle sander also does good in these places.

The great thing about a socket set is you probably have one that will just about fit that curve perfect.

Edit: missed your post the first time around gredpe3, socket does work like a charm though.
