Hello BF,
KNIFE IS SOLD, THANKS FOR LOOKING.
Reduced to $169, and free shipping CONUS.
This is the longest blade I have ever done. I am really happy with it!
OAL at 13 1/4, and a cutting edge of 7 1/2, with a full flat grind.
Cut from 3/16 stock that was 1 1/2 inches top to bottom.
The edge tapers downward towards the belly allowing for a slight weight offset to the tip.
Handle is Natural Canvas Micarta with 1/4 SS Pins and Tube. I finished it to 80 grit then hit it lightly with oil. Very grippy.
Steel is 1095 and is heat treated, cryogenically treated, and tested to guaranteed Rc of 59-60 by Peters of Meadville, PA.
Sheath is a newer Spec Ops Model called the Basic Modular Knife Sheath, it can handle an 8 inch long blade, and is typical Spec Ops Quality.
Knife is $169 - Paypal, MO, etc are fine. Shipping is free Conus, I will ship internationally at cost.
Thanks for looking, John
