Choppin with the NMFSHLE

Great pics , my NMFSHLE is on it's way and should arrive in a few days , can't wait !!.

Oh yeah!!! Get that knife all dinged up and loved!!!! :)

My "bad log" has some old peg nails, about 6cm under the top layer. I can't see them, of course, and I have hit a few of them with other blades. Doesn't matter to me, if I put dings in the edges that are nasty enough that I don't want to to try and fix it myself, to the spa it will go  I'm pretty sure I went right through the nails, minor edge damage to my KZII including what looked like scratches to the flat body of the blade, just behind the roll on the edge (that's what makes me think I went through it), but I gotta keep Beef busy, right?

Great pics. The mail man just dropped mine off. It looks to me like it has a pretty thin grind for a Busse this size.
For a knife with such a thick spine it is much lighter and lively in hand than I thought it was going to be.
The edge is incredible, thanks to Beef this thing slices through phone book paper like a razor.

Wow... that's one sweet looking blade! How would it compare to the FBM le?

I with I had the bling when they were offered. I remember sitting there watching the ganza go... go... go! I can't believe I had the self restraint. Oh well, maybe a user will pop up or the much requested CG NMFSH :).

Thanks for the pics.

That's the one I was going for, I tried the other day, but didn't have the close-up setting on...

Hiya Guys, I just got my B.I.G. N.M.F.S.H. about a hour and a half ago and I can't put it down, I always wanted a Battle Mistress after seeing Noss do a destruction video on another forum, by the time I was able to buy a B.M. The only one that was offered by Busse Combat was the Anneversary Straight Handle Battle Mistress since all my Busse Combat Knives are in the satin finish I got mine in the LE, what surprised me was the handle is straight on my new knife it's just an illusion that looks like there's a slop to the handle, but another thing is the top of the handle is contoured to reduce pressure on my hand when I chop, the difference in weight between my buddies N.M.F.B.M. and my N.M.F.S.H. is about 3oz's, mine is a little thicker and his is a little longer but as a chopper even though I do have a B.M. I think I found my all time favorite chopper, in horizontal slicing the straight handle seems to be more comfortable but in chopping the new knife handle because of the way the pressure points are reduced I think is better, IMO.
