Chopping Frozen Rubber

I went out to shovel today and finally got fed up enough at a piece of heavy duty rubber type stuff that was preventing one of our fence gates from closing. The previous owners had installed the rubber material between the concrete and the garden area. I suppose to keep the garden from getting away.

Anyway, we built the fence this summer. If you opened the gate wide, past the spot where the rubber piece ended, it would pop up and then prevent the gate from closing.

Batonned through the round part in 3 whacks using an NMSFNO. Then used my TK3 to slice off the rest.

The disappointing part: it only took three hits to get the job done.:)

NMSFNO with some melted snow and ice, TK3, and the offending rubber piece, now vanquished.

I dont know...... anyone else kinda disappointed with description versus the mental visual? :p

No kidding! Where's the pics? There was a NMSFNO last week that was broken by ice!?!

I believe ice really does'nt stand a chance against a NMSFNO, much less a piece of rubber

Alright, alright. Fairly tough crowd.
I'm glad it was good for me at least.;)
(Un)fortunately, I didn't have any bigger chores to tackle.

What'd y'all use your Busse for today?

Well I'll have to admit all I used my fsh for today was to cut up an Apple. But it was a really BIG ONE! :D :D

I carried my BWBM on my belt all day, including a trip to Chik-fil-A for some lunch then Home Depot to pick up some mulch. I was cleaning up the backyard to get the house ready to sell - trimmed a lot of branches, cut down a small bamboo grove which was looking pretty sickly, and chopped up some old yard furniture.

Sorry, but I was working way too hard to take any pictures of any of this :p

That humbles me. Chopping up furniture sounds like fun. That might make a good indoor project for today . . . OK, not really, but I'm glad the thought didn't cross my mind when my BWM arrived.;)

Now for all you paper pushers and apple cutters and dust collectors. . .
I'm glad you're finding joy in (not) using your INFI!

I'll be back with something big. I'd like to take down a tree with my BOSS St. Y'all just wait.:D
