Hollowdweller? Forgive my asking but were you a beaver in a previous life?

If so and you've kept in contact I have a good address for Pugs and we all know what he's responsible for..................................

Some serious chopping there my friend. Well done.

I dont know man! If you leave Pugs' place with your tail tucked between your legs consider yourself a lucky beaver!

Well actually that's 3 difft khuks and 3 difft trees. The big one in 3 sections I worked on 3 difft times hence the snow in some of the pics.

On the big tree in sections, that was a 18" Foxy Folly, the original design by Foxjaw which turned out to be WAY too heavy and then our dear, departed forumite YVSA got them to make an 18" model. A lot of those models had problems with chipping and stuff, maybe with the fullers they could not properly harden them? But that one was a great chopper and (so far) has not cracked.

The other tree was cut with an 17" Ganga Ram Villager. That one has probably been my most durable and reliable chopper. It was made by Bura.

Finally the tree that is fairly high, across the road that was cut with a 15" Ganga Ram which unfortunately later on some oak walked west. Aunt Yangdu sent me a replacement with a NEEM handle which was better tempered and remains in the collection today.
