I posted this on the SW forum too...

I love my Chopweiler! I've been using it a fair bit for various things, mainly cutting up bones for Murray.

It's a very well designed knife, beautiful convex edge and feels great in the hand.

Thought I'd take some pics of it as it's getting a few dings and a nice patina is forming. It's looking like a knife should - loved. I helped the patina along a bit with some vinegar :) Enjoy!

looks very neat. Congrats on your score, I guess now you can send that MOAB of yours to me since you no longer need it.

absolutely gorgeous! I love stripped blade and the patina, it really adds to the beastyness of the knife :D

Nice Chopper Rob, i want to pick one up someday. That handle just looks so comfy and the overall appearance looks so :cool: Thanks for the pics. :thumbup:

Rob, what Busse would you compare this one to??

I recently sold my CG Ash1, and need to fill the mid sized hole.

The blade is a bit longer than the Ash1.

How do you like the handle in the hand, compared to a fusion handle or an Ash handle?



Also, is this a factory comp finish, with the bead blast?

I would like to try a mustard patina on one.
