chopweiler fits?

do you think the chopweiler will fit in a large spec.ops combat sheath (8" sheath)? looking for a cheap sheath option. thanks.

If i'm not mistaken the old one did (ratweiler), so I can only assumer that the newer one will aswell. I am sure someone else will be able to come and shed some more light on the subject.

The old Ratweiler did fit with some minor adjustments. You had to "stretch" the inner liner a tad. I heated mine up over the stove and forced a 5 gallon paint stick down it then let cool completely. I've also heard about putting tape on the blade then forcing it in a hot liner. If you have to alter it go slowly.

The chopweiler fits perfectly in the long spec ops sheath. Didn't have to adjust the liner at all.
