Hey guys,
Need cash so Im going to let these go.
Up first is a user chopweiler with a very nice kydex sheath. I acquired this one in a trade and it came to me a stripped user. I have it a scotchbrite satin finish and was going to rehandle it but never got around to it. I removed the scales and reattached them with stainless tubing. One of the tubes is a little offset and sticks out a little further on one side. It does not cause any discomfort and is not super noticeable. Ive included a picture. The knife has some scratches on it from the kydex sheath. I gave this knife a nice convex edge and its nasty sharp and will cut much better than the factory edge. The hamon is visible.
Looking for 245 now $215 shipped.
Up next is a scrap yard 311 that I stripped, and thinned down to be a mean cutter. It has not been used except for a few test cuts. I also removed the handle on this one and reattached it with stainless tubing.
I thinned this one down to .018 behind the edge while leaving the tip nice and thick for harder tasks. This knife will slice very, very well and has an excellent edge. No sheath with this one.
Looking for $100 shipped.
PM me or email me at huntermartin77 attt hotmail dottt com if you are interested. Sorry for the giant pictures. You may want to zoom out on your browser.
The front tube is slightly off center
Here it is with a scrap max on the right so you can get an idea of how thin it is.
