LOL... It's called "Bad lighting Black" micarta.....

It's just Black micarta,but I must admit it is a little weird... That doesn't look black at all.. Here is a better pic with a couple more Blade scores..

It still looks weird though,maybe it's the shirt I had them on...

Ah, thanks for the clarification! The handles still look a little different, I agree, the first pic they looked rather dark and somewhat mottled in color. Second pics looks a lot more even.

The lightness goes away with use as oils get into the micarta, or you can get them wet to see if you like the darker color. When the water evaporates they will return to the original color.

That moss green is starting to grow on me (pun, heh) I didnt like it at first, but I'm starting to get attracted.
