Chris & 20" AK vs the wedding cake. Must see pix.

:
Good looking bride, good looking cake and an exempleary khukuri. That forms the bases for a good solid marriage with many happy years to come. And I wish you many many of happy days to come.

Mohd, you've been missed!!!! Quit running away like that without letting people know where you're at and what you're doing.
You're one of the family here you know and we get worried.
And you sure wouldn't want us sending Tsimi, Harry and Blues after your young self now would you? :)

Hello Yvsa - It's nice to be among you all once again! Alhamdu-li-(A)llaah! Sometimes I just wondering ... how come this sharp objeck (ie. Khukuri) can bring us close together as a one big family around the globe!

Chris - I suggest you to cut another cake with your 20" AK during your 1st Wedding Anniversary next year ... and don't forget to post another picture ... and I hope Chris junior will also in the picture as well!

Thanks Yvsa!;) Mohd, Thanks also! We will have to do that! I don't know about having any chris jr. yet, she still needs to get through school, about 5 more years! When we are done paying for that then we will see a Chris jr. swinging a khuk around the house!!!:D

Hi Chris,

nice wedding
+ nice couple
+ nice cake
+ nice knife.
= congrats! and a question.

..... Did the cake on the blade taste like Mercedes Benz?

WrongFriend I think I was to nervous to remember the taste!!;) I think Mercedes Benz sounds right though!!:D

Chris.
I guess you should oil the 20" AK blade to get a nicer smell than the smell of merc!

Rusty.
What's the name of the oil which you used for your blades ... is it Kama Sutra Oil?

:D

Mohd, put 1/2 to 1 ounce of clove oil in with 8 ounces of kama sutra oil. Clove oil is sold in phamacies over here for toothache, but is mixed with mineral oil in Japan to make Choji oil ( choji = clove ) used to care for katanas.

In any case, one part clove oil to between 8 and 16 parts kama sutra "pleasure garden" oil. You can always mix it, add a bit more clove oil if you decide it needs more pungency.

Don't you know that I always tell the exact truth ( though not necessarily ALL of it ) and that the more outrageous it sound the more likely it is to be God's own truth?

Remember William James' criteria for truth:

1) Congruence>
2) Usefulness> = TRUTH
3) Luminosity>

Take it easy on the clove oil at first - it seems to get stronger and start overpowering the other scents. As Yvsa notes, a well oiled scabbard and khuk will retain the scent for an extraordinarily long time.
