Hi Friends,
Pilgrim Films (produces some popular reality shows like American Chopper, Dirty Jobs, & Ultimate Fighter) came across our web site & youtube videos and decided to hire me, to be in a show the history channel will be airing. The show is called “Top Shot”. It’s a series of competition episodes, featuring top marksmen competing for a $100,000 prize as they reenact history’s most celebrated feats of marksmanship. The host of the show is Colby, from survivor. I’ll be in the English Archery episode as the Expert Archer. I’ll be demonstrating how to shoot bows, teaching the contestants, and will give some background on English Archery. Lots of neat stuff! Half the show will have me in it, and the other half will have a crossbow expert. It was a total blast! My first time on a big show, so I probably will be quite funny to you all :D. I’m still not a pro in front of a camera. A ham, yes, but not a pro.

The series of episodes airs Sunday nights at 10/9c, June 6th. I’ll be on June 20th. If you have some time, tune in and check it out. I’ll send out a reminder a couple days before I’m aired.

No. No wild blades. Only bow & arrows were allowed :mad: Still cool though.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I'm not a contestant for the 100,000. They hired me as the expert to train them in longbow archery, they interview me, and I do demonstrations for them. If I did win, I would send everyone of my pals here something sharp :D.

As for the knife throwing expert, I'm not real sure. I only met a few other experts while I was there. The crossbow man (great older man by the way), and the sniper longshot guy.

Congrats! History has been pounding the airwaves with commercials for this now, so they're treating this as a real big deal. That usually means they've got a great show on their hands that might not otherwise get noticed. I definitely plan to help out by catching what episodes I can.
