Chris Casted in History Channel Show – Top Shot

Congratulations. My dad called me to watch this hahaha. We both watch alot of discovery chanel and this one is a for sure program for me. It will be cool to see you on the tv now I can tell all my friends about it:D We get your autograph right?
 
Awesome buddy! What did you think of the Hungarian horse archer and the samurai bowman on "Deadliest Warrior"? Good archers or tv hype?

I love the Deadliest Warrior show. I believe it was authentic. :jerkit:
 
Sweet, i've seen that show i think. They had a sniper comp. the other day. Did you plug bladeforums in on the show while it was taping :-)
 
Caught it in Hulu. I really enjoyed the show. Looking forward to see you do your thing. It will be interesting to see how you coached a group of experts, some of whom probably were not proficient in traditional instinctive archery.

Just watched the first two shows. Man, that Kelly kid can shoot a rifle! And I doubt I could hit a buffalo going down that zipline...of course, I've never seen a buffalo on a zipline before.

I'll be catching all the future episodes. Two thumbs way up!
 
So far Im loving the show. Can't wait to see the third installment with you Archer.

I guess I'm the first to post after watching the actual show.

Nice job! My kids think you're VERY cool, and evidently you have an open invite to have dinner here. It was interesting to watch some guys--who understand the basics of firing projectiles do a pretty good job...and then watch you, and see how much better you are. Your skill really showed off. Especially when the other guys demonstrate how tough that contest was.

We're very proud of you here! Keep 'em flying!

The show is called “Top Shot”. It’s a series of competition episodes, featuring top marksmen competing for a $100,000 prize as they reenact history’s most celebrated feats of marksmanship. The host of the show is Colby, from survivor. I’ll be in the English Archery episode as the Expert Archer. I’ll be demonstrating how to shoot bows, teaching the contestants, and will give some background on English Archery. Lots of neat stuff! Half the show will have me in it, and the other half will have a crossbow expert. It was a total blast! My first time on a big show, so I probably will be quite funny to you all :D. I’m still not a pro in front of a camera. A ham, yes, but not a pro.

The series of episodes airs Sunday nights at 10/9c, June 6th. I’ll be on June 20th. If you have some time, tune in and check it out. I’ll send out a reminder a couple days before I’m aired.

Just watched your episode tonight. Good stuff! Wish I'd known one of our own was going to be on there -- I woulda saved the episode.

Long bows look like fun. All the complaining that Brady was doing ("It's not a gun! I can't aim it! I don't wanna play bows and arrows!") makes me want to dust off my old Bear recurve, set up some hay bales, and let a few rip.

Good show, by the way.
 
Crap, I missed it, but it's going to run again this week...I already have it set to record and looking forward to it. Congrats anyways, it's great to see some in our "community" get some good publicity! :thumbup:
