Hello. Thanks for taking the time to look at my thread. This bowie was made by Chris Owen of Cairo, Missouri. I had him make me this bowie a while back. It sports an awesome ladder pattern damascus blade forged by Mr. Owen, beautifully fileworked guard, curly maple handle with silver wire inlay and enameling. It is 12" overall with a 7 1/2 blade. It is marked OWEN and serial numbered 173. It comes with a leather handmade sheath made by Chris. The bowie you will receive is not the one in the picture but one Chris made for me after this one sold before I got to it. It looks identical down to the silver wire and enameling. The damascus is obviously going to be different but Mr. Owen is very consistent in his forging I've noticed. Any questions, just ask. Thanks for looking!
