FULL DISCLOSURE
We offered this knife last year and it went out to a customer. The customer returned it to us, citing a small imperfection in the blade. Upon examination, we did see the imperfection in the edge itself: a small line, smaller than a hair width, in the edge of the blade.
The knife was sent to Chris Reeve for inspection & quality assurance. They examied it and declared it to be an artifact of the sharpening process that somehow slipped past QC but was not a defect in materials. The blade was resharpened and reshipped back to us. It remains unopened since arrival, still wrapped in the tissue by the factory.
So........
