Chris Reeve fake on ebay

It is very true that ebay could not care less if they tried about fakes and they themselves do nothing when items are reported. They are all about money and that generally has a nasty habit of dissolving any and all morals.
People are far better off hassling the actual seller about it, as we see in this case it can get results. It may and will often not get a result of course, but your odds of actually getting some sort of action taken are much, much better than the big fat zero you get from contacting ebay about it.

I live in Asia and know for a fact that the sad truth here is that fakes are not only tollerated but even celebrated. I could send you quickly to sleep with vast numbers of examples and evidences, but the bottom line here is that fake itmes and the use of established company logos are not going nowhere. The people that could do something about it are unfortunately already in the pockets of and busy shaking the hands of the enemy here.
It's up to us to make sure we do our best to see our support go to the people that are geting thumped, like CRK. As Unit pointed out CRK aren't losing many if any customers over this, but using a company logo is just not cricket and that issue should be stamped on solidly with both feet any time it pops up. It's just a shame it's customers of those companies that seem to be the only ones doing the stomping.....

Well put.

The best thing that we can do is not buy them.....no sales and they will quit making them!! The problem is that your average consumer will just see a knife and not care about quality, materials, and patents.
