Who makes people better?

Who makes knives better?

Better invention - fire or the integral lock?

I give 2 outta 3 to Chris...

Now here we disagree. Good man, great knifemaker. And only God can make a tree.

Have you ever seen lightning strike?

Admire men when they deserve it. Don't worship them, ever.

damn, I think that wins...

Nah, I don't worship him, only had 2 shrines built in his honor....lol

The general idea is - he makes great knives.

And I think the point's already been made that he didn't invent the integral lock ... only gave it it's name perhaps.

Pat Crawford and Mel Pardue's use of the lock supposedly preceded his. Doubtless God had one before them too...

Well, it looks like I have a shrine to his work of my own hanging on the wall, so...

Chris Reeve is Only a Tool that God made so that God could give Man a better knife.

St. James, an observation: doesn't the word JIHAD (Holy war) make a lot more sense now that you guys are putting up shrines to your knives and their maker? I mean, the word SEBENZANISTA mostly has political, not religious connotations. But, it does Sound better; it doesn't CLASH nearly as much.

James,

I quote "I wonder what sort of cosmic knife God used to separate the light from the darkness" God used the sharpest ,The quickest, deepest cutting ,most lethal, most lifegiving, most useful, most destuctive, most constructive, the most uplifting, the most demeaning tool that exists. We all have this tool available to us, we all use it, we all have the choice on how we will use it, we have all used it for good and we all have mis-used it. God SPOKE it. Our words once spoken have the power to do all this and
is the most useful and the most dangerous tool in existance.

With no opinion as to how close to Deity Mr. Reeve is, can we rest assured that a certain extremist on knifeforums.com is the ANTI-KNIFE! Just spell Mad Dog's kname backward for your first clue. And won't the Model 666 "revelator" be his knext offering? Holy Smokes, is he going to introduce a Skinner called the "knife of the beast"?

St. James said it better than I ever could have. Mr. Reeve is a gentleman in the highest sense of the word, who happens to build a product with a nearly dogmatic following. He also happens to have incredibly excellent taste in women. Anne is wonderful.

Paracleseus, I want to be like you when I grow up! Or, shall I say, IF I ever grow up.

Matt, that could take a Very long time. I'm going on 508 years next September. Besides, living this long has led to a number of less desirable side effects, like multiple personality disorder and insanity. I wish I had never invented that darned elixer of eternal life stuff. And you strike me as Very grown up already, Waxes Eloquent. Me, I still try to think like a child (and it gets me in a lot a trouble sometimes). Still searching for God, I am (not)

Oh, Mike Turber, I DID IT! But nothing happened. I guess I didn't Do It Right. Can you Help me?

What is, after all, the First Commandment of knives?

THINK TWICE,
CUT ONCE.

Let's just make sure that we remember that God is the almighty and humility is our greatest strength.
