Chris Reeve Knive’s Hawk Clip is Available!

I understand the cost of the actual knife. Prestige of the brand, formerly a very high level of fit and finish, cost of materials, etc. Plus, it's a tool that works well. But $75 is a lot for a small piece of titanium. That does nothing but hold the knife to your pocket.

At least, imo, the mxg clips not only are deep carry, but improve grip/eliminate hot spots on stock clips. Brief though it was, my time owning a sebenza never did I feel the clip was inadequate at doing its job. I prefer deep carry, but it was fine. Not too much stuck out.

Real question. If I order my sebenza with no clip is there a discount?

I’ve had the hawk clip on mine for a year or 2. Paid $50 and regretted not getting a few when they were $30. I love the improved comfort it gives me knowing it won’t just slide out. My stock clip caused me headaches. It got snagged and bent, never held retention the same even after bending it back. Got snagged on a bag of trash and wound up in the compactor but thankfully I noticed before it was crushed. Also the panic of thinking it slipped out of my pocket on a big landscape job only to find it hours later snagged in my seatbelt. I’ve never had one issue using the hawk clip compared to the stock clip but YMMV.

It is kinda funky looking, I guess I'm not sure what this has over the stock clip, looks aside.

Perfection and simplicity looks like this..

The price is ridiculous. The Hawks put the same clip on their Boker Griploc which cost me $50 at a knife store.

They were always expensive, but ever since Chris isn’t behind the company anymore they aren’t the same. You’re not the only person here who can afford a Sebenza, there are people here that have CRK collections that are worth six figures.
Six figures? Maybe not quite that much. Surely not.
