I've been shifting out of the CRK scene for a while now, and this is one of my last truly significant pieces up for sale today. My two boys are reaching driving age so there's that. This piece has been a cornerstone of my collection, but it's time it moves one to be someone else's.
This is #14 of 21 special anniversary Sebenza knives produced by Chris Reeve to celebrate his company's 21 years as a business. 21 years is significant in South African culture as a milestone of maturation. Chris did some very special work on these knives that you aren't likely to ever see repeated. Another knife like this may not show up again for sale until estate sales in the far future.
Included in this knife "package"
-the 21st Anniversary Large Classic Sebenza, with Gary House Zebra damascus steel made especially for this project. There is a Zulu spear engraved and anozied on the front slab (representing Chris' home country of South Africa) pointing to a diamond designating the City of Boise. A polished star garnet is the inlay Cabochan. Included is a second, uncut garnet in a small baggie in the box. Included paperwork describes the significance of the gemstone.
- a handmade, cocobolo presentation box with black felt padding to hold the knife for display. This comes in its own white CRK box.
- an extra water-buffalo bead matching the one tied to the lanyard.
- Paperwork describing the knife and it's significance to CRK
- The birth certificate is the included pamphlet, which gives the specification of this particular knife.
- Leather slip sheath
For the entire package, packaged in a medium flat-rate USPS box with full insurance - $xxxx negotiable, but with serious buyers only, please.
You can pay anyway you like, and I'll pick up fees for PayPal if that's your preference.
Please PM or email me if anyone has any questions.
All the best.
Steve
