Chris Reeve Knives Addict !!!

No your not the only addicted soul as per the 20 plus replies. A new large Sebenza, a new small Sebenza and a used Umnumzaan within the last two weeks. I like the Umnumzaan so much, I thinking of ordering a new one with the new S35VN blade material. Don't get me wrong, I like the Sebenza's a lot, especially the large one- but the Umnumzaan is really winning me over.
 
Hard for me to get addicted to anything, but I must say, the more that I handle and use my small 21- undressed...the more I appreciate the design sensibilities of Chris Reeve and the more I'm apt to purchase another. From its clean lines, to subtle curves and purposeful drops, from how the ti acclimates to it's surrounding temperature- surprise of warmth after being retrieved from the pocket on a brisk day, and the weight of quality in hand- it is a wonder to hold visually and physically. And so...I can't wait to pick up my new large 21, undressed of course, from my po box in the morning. And ya, I also need to see what the Star-benza in S35VN is all about and the Star-tac and...did I mention it was hard for me to get addicted to anything.
 
Let's see, in the last month I got a single guard shadow III, tanto umnumzaan, star-Tac umnumzaan, large regular sebenza, small regular meteor shower sebenza, large 21 night sky sebenza, and one on the way ( Ti-lock ). I think that's it...... Lol. I sold the large 21 night sky as I just am not into the 21 blade shape. I also sold a large regular sebenza because I have been overspending. So that helps balance it out a little.................AND, if I told you about the beauties I missed out on or passed up, it would make you cry...... There may be some light at the end of the tunnel because I am close to being tapped out.... Lol.

Looking forward to the new arrival. Plan to do a review of it on here for you guys to see with lots of pics.
 
That ti-lock should be a nice addition. I really want to try one out but I think Ill wait till I see one on the exchange for a reasonable price. Or when and if you get bored with yours maybe Ill have to hit you up :)
Its funny, seems like my most favorite knife is alwyas the "next" one.
 
I've never had an opportunity to handle any CRK's. Been creeping round here for a while now, and i couldn't decide which to get; the sebenza 21 or the Umnumzaan, so i ordered both!:eek:

Got the sebenza directly from CRK. Double thumb lugs, polished blade, s35v... i got the Umnum from a dealer on the internet. The knives b'days are exactly a week apart too!


Only bad thing is that i have to sell one. I'm really liking the umnum.....;) Prob going to get a gold membership on here soon!
