I just received my left-handed early 90's large "P" Sebenza back from CRK. I initially sent it to them on the recommendation of two of the forum members KELAMA and Lone_Wolf, my humble thanks to both of you for your assisitance.
Foremost, after CRK received the knife they emailed me letting me know it was safe and sound. Then not too long after that, they notified me of what they were going to do to bring it back to life. I was expecting to pay for the service because of the slight pitting and rust that had somehow managed to grow on the blade pivot area in my safe all these years.
When contacted a third time they not only told me that it was ready to ship, I believe it was approx. 6 weeks, but that the only charge would be the shipping back to me. Unbelievable to know that there is still a company that takes the time and expense to keep a customer and live up to the name on the knife.
I actually felt guilty not having to pay for their time and service since the issue was obviously my fault.
I'm sure that their patience is tested on a daily basis with a plethora of manageable and unmanageable issues.
The knife looks brand spanking new, except for the pitting they couldn't remove but gave it a helluva try. It's razor sharp, locks up like new and centerlines better than before.
Thank you CRK. You have a customer for life.
