  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Chris Reeve Knives History Timeline To Date & Blade Steel Timeline

I don't see any mention in the timeline that the "Idaho Made" marking was added to the knives in 2010, or in which month. (Some call it a "stamp" but looks machined, not stamped, to me so I just go with "marking.")

The reason I'm wondering is that I have this Nyala (no birth certificate), also introduced in 2010, that does not have the marking.

My Nyala without the “Idaho Made” mark has a birthdate of 12/29/2010 taking it right to the end of the year.

Frankly, I like the marking. It's a time delineation , and being from Texas, I'm happy when people are proud of where they are/came from. Not blindly proud, but happy to identify with, there are not a lot of things Idaho is known for, except Potatoes, so here is another. It is a beautiful state. B
