Seems like these are very popular among the forum members. Just curious because I don’t know anything about them. What do people enjoy about them?
This is not a “I prefer this company over CRK” or “I don’t like them because.” Not a bashing discussion, but what are great about these knives.

They are made with very precise tolerances from great materials and are the most useable of the higher end knives.

For many, they are the first grail knife they set their sights on...myself included. Simple in construction but built to such amazing tolerances. They aren't for everyone, and that's OK, but they quality and a safe investment if that's your sort of thing.

One stand out reason for me is their warranty. A fellow in the CRK sub recently had a blade break, it was an older model in bg42 (not sure when they stopped producing those, but I'm sure someone here does). They replaced the blade with the steel appropriate for the era the knife was made. That kind of long term thinking is exactly why I use the snot out of my small 31 with no worries about it wearing out.

Simple, well made and reliable. One of the few companies that encourage you to take your knife apart to clean it, supplies the tools to do so and if you can’t put it back together they say “pack up the parts, mail it to us and we’ll put it back together for you”

All that to say I’ve owned and used many, currently have none. They’re great knives, absolutely nothing wrong with them. But if you’re already asking the question… you’ll be finding out before too long. Even if it’s a year or 2 from now. You’re already curious!

+1 for the preceding comments; personally I find their aesthetics extremely satisfying. It’s everything really from design to materials to presentation to rugged dependability. CRK has built a well-deserved reputation for standing behind their products. If you wanted just one knife for life (which I can’t imagine), their line would offer you that in spades.

You will find a lot of CRK lovers here. You will also find some modders out there because nothing fits everyone. I love my small inkosi fit and finish is as good as it gets however if I had my way they would make a 3" version in magnacut and .16 blade thickness.

Here is my CRK Mnandi collection, posted a couple of hours ago, on this forum. You will see the quality.

Classic, simple design, utterly reliable, the ergos work great for me, the satisfying "hydraulic" action that you need to experience to really understand (and even then sometimes it takes some time to click, it did for me before I fell in love with that action!), great history in the industry, warranty that is second to none. I sharpen all my own knives with the exception of CRK, I enjoy sending them back for the full spa treat. I love the inlay models, and enjoy knowing that I can beat on the Micarta inlay models as much as I want and they can go back to the mothership for a glass blast and be brought back to new anytime (not so for the wood inlays, something to consider). And they're just super friendly people to boot, I've probably spent hours with them on the phone by now just chit chatting each time I send a model in, and I always have a fun conversation. I could go on  Treat yourself, worst case scenario you don't love it, and one of us CRK nuts will take it off your hands for just about what you paid for it!
