This is my CRK Large, Web sight Sebenza, about 2 months old. If you want to get into CRK, this is a good one to start off with. I thinks it's a deal because it has both inlay (hematite stone) and Computer graphic (the spider web) all in one knife.

I have never used this knife. It is about 2 months old and I have only tried one thing with it. That is, I tried to gold laquer the spider web with gold laquer. It did not look right and removed most of the laquer with nail polish remover, but some remnants of the gold may be seen at the CRK logo and surround the stone's web (look at teh pics). You may remove this all with a little acetone.

I have included pictures of all critical views of the knife, i.e. lockup, blade centering, L and R views, and design view.

I prefer paypal, email with any questions. $ 305.

Oh yeah, I just found this...it's the original box, reciept for $455, lanyard, and leather sheath.

Yes, Dave is right on the steel, sir.

I live by the 605 adn 91 freeways. If you want to meet somewhere to look at it, you 're welcome to. This way, I save Paypal fees. So I'd encourage it.

If you can't make it. Go to a brick and mortar knife shop to look at it and decide if it's right for you before buying.

Apologies to aablades. He offered to buy it and I said OK. When I didn't receive a quick reply to confirm, I assumed he changed his mind and then put it to ebay. My deepest apologies. :o

Sincerely,

Cliff

Wow. That was a great price. I think it's poor form that aablades says he'll take it, on a public forum and you aknowledge that you said OK, then because aablades doesn't respond to you immediately, you put the knife on eBay? From the time he said he'd take it, until your last post was only 7 hours and 19 minutes so that is the absolute maximum amount of time that could have passed between your conversations. Less than 8 hours (like if he'd had to go to work)! Did it occur that he might have told you he'd take it and then taken his wife or girlfriend out to dinner and dancing to cover for buying another knife and just hadn't returned home yet? It was Friday night.

It seems like the right thing to do would be cancel the ebay auction and sell the knife as agreed to aablades. I know it'd really tick me off if this happened to me and I'll likely not be interested in what you're selling in the future, even if the price is good. This is a small community and the only way to maintain an honorable reputation is to do what you say wou're going to do, when you say you're going to do it.

He did offer to pull it from ebay and sell it to me but I have declined.

What's done is done so we will move on now. No sleep lost. Everything is cool.

As aablades has said, I did offer him in a private email to pull it and sell it to him. I wait a certain amount of time then when no one responds and others are offering to pay me now, I have to go with the paying customer, not someone who says he just wants the item.

Many people said they wanted the knife and didn't follow through. When I buy something or want/intend to buy something. I say this...

"I'll take the knife, what is your paypal address"? I then send the money. I don't say that I'm interested in taking the item, then go about my business. I never recieved a commitment from aa or the others who said there were interested as we spoke through private email. You are only seeing postings on the forum and now I have to defend myself from attack? In the meantime other people are wanting it and committing to it by way of asking me how they can pay me. I can't wait forever.

It's like having a booth at the swapmeet and having someone say that they are interested in what you're selling and wanting it. They walk away and in the meantime, 5 other people want the same thing and are waving cash at you. 4 hours goes by and the original person is nowhere to be found. You start to wonder if they were just saying that as more people say they want the same thing are willing to pay you. Then 4 more hours pass and you then figure the original person isn't interested. Meanwhile, you turn down others who want the same and are willing to pay?

Anyway, I have sold it to a fellow member of the forum who said he wanted it, where can we meet (lived in the area and was willing to meet immediately) and paid me upon seeing the knife.

Again, when I want something, I GET IT! I tell the other person I want to buy and pay the man, either in person or on paypal. I don't mess around. People who look for deals move on them on this forum. You don't see a deal and wait, if you do, then someone else is going to get it.

End of story. These attacks leave a distate in my mouth. I'm still like knives and always will and will buy the knives I want. But will no longer post here or pay to support the forum. If the mods can ban me please do so. I want out.
