I bought this knife brand spanking new from CRK and have carried it now and then. It has enjoyed a very pampered life as evidenced by the finish on the blade and edge which is not terribly different than it was on January 9, 2002 born. The Ti slabs show that the knife was (gently) carried and CRK will readily make the slabs like new again but many prefer the "earned" appearance so it's up to you.
Knife has spent W A A A Y more time in the safe than outside of the safe in the open air so it, and some other safe queens and squatters have to go.
