I bought a gorgeous large 31 DP in box elder completely polished from the Canadian Bird CRK retailer several months ago hoping the exchange rate would bring it in line with US retail, but after hefty shipping, customs, etc. I decided not to do that again - unless they had something really hard to find. They have at least 2 Mnandis now in ME and the the exchange rate brings it to around $506. But again it's going north of that because of associated costs. The US dealer that had a couple yesterday ($500) is sold out. Better jump on it, eh?

My Macassar Ebony Mnandi from a dealer in Mesa AZ was shipped overnight to Colorado via the Memphis FedEx hub, and never made it out of Memphis for todays scheduled delivery in CO. So, I paid for overnight shipping and wont get it until 5 days later on Tuesday the 27th. I should have just used Priority Mail and bought a nice meal with the savings.

I recently had a similar experience with FedEx. Went to Memphis instead of going down I80 to my region approximately 6 hours away.

Left Mesa AZ Thursday via FedEx overnight, and still in Memphis; but a 2nd day package from North Carolina left the day before on Wednesday and arrived to me in Colorado today.
