what's this "Prototype, grooved, finger opening recess" thing you speak of?

They machined the thumb opening recess, so there is more area for your thumb to come in contact with. It is nothing super duper special, really, but it is a variant of the "normal" production thumb recess, and therefore bears mentioning from both a functional and aesthetic standpoint.

And, before you ask, no, I am not going to try and get a closeup photograph of it. In two days, unless someone buys it, I am going to take the sale thread down, and move it further on down the line.
