Chris Reeve or Fallkniven?

Thank you all for your thoughts. As always, you Blade Forum guys always give good sound advice.

I would go with the Fallkniven. I like some CRK fixed blades but not the one piece models, there's no shock absorbancy in the on piece metal design and for a lot of chopping you will feel the difference.

Good point!

If you want to do a lot of chopping perhaps a Fallkniven A2 would be more appropriate?

I considered the A2, but I think I'm looking for more of an all-round camp knife that can also do a little chopping.

Fallkniven sounds nordic. You can pretend to be Thor with a fallkniven

Yeah. Specially with this one:

Kind regards,

Have tried to work up the interest in Fallkniven but just can't and it's not for a lack of trying. I'm sure they are fine knives, but I'm more of a CRK kinda guy (have a GB and Mark IV) and am wanting to try a Busse. Fallkniven seems to have a good reputation and I think you'll do well with either.
