Chris Reeve Professional Soldier

OK, im getting one... I contacted Tom Krein and he said he'd do the regrind on it for me... so looks like this is gonna happen... yeah baby! :D:thumbup:

I plan on carrying it as a neck knife and the thin profile seems like it would lend itself nicely to under-shirt carry...

:)

so, we had a forum meet over here, with members of the HSL forum
among us there was a good friend : Andrew Jordan from Jordan Knives (yep the maker)

talking about quality, finish and such I showed him my spankin' new 48h old PS in S35VN
asked what he tought about it, "let's use it and find out" , we walk a few meters in the bush and HE starts to baton on it "this is the kind of work Mr. Reeve would like you to do with it" "and the use you make in case of need and you only have that one"
after like 20 or more hard batonings he hands me the knife "still working", it was green and dirty

note that he is big like a bear, a metalsmith and bladesmith used to hard hits, he used a 10 cm long wood baton to CUT slices (felt like salami, so good geometry!) of like 5-10 wide dead wood (pine?) we had around, so nothing small but good use

after a clean up with alcohol...NEW NEW NEW! spanking new! no sign no damages, still sharp even if at 55-57
it's as new as I could sell it and nobody would ever know it has been used a lot

he liked the workmanship, ergos and qulity Reeves have, even said they're well HTted, hrc does not count as a WELL done HT does, proven by me!

I'm happy about it and won't fear using it more, tough little friend!
so, thumbs up!
just some cents

GLOCKCRAZZ that handle wrap looks great. Is there a tutorial somewhere where I can learn to do that?
