No, in my line of work, believe me I am not afraid, count on that.

Now it's the "Mall Ninja" post. Looking like troll to me.

Bulldawg, I don't want people to think I threatened you in an E-mail.

I sent you one E-mail in resonse to several of yours.

Bulldawg,

Thanks for your response; it meant a lot to me.

Is a Sebenza worth it?????????????

Get a grip on yourself.

There is no reason to leave. Trust me, this is the best place for knives on the internet.

Passarounds, trades, great deals, and lots to learn. Just try not to flame anyone(Be Insultive) And if someone else started it, then that's there bad, But when they see you doing it, it makes you look like the troll(someone whos only goal is to spam or start trouble).

Trust me, don't let one little spat send you packing :)

Listen, don't let a few people ragging you keep you away from the forums. This is really a good place to learn. Your attitude really just rubbed us wrong and we let you know. It had nothing to do with the question you asked, but the way you handled our responses. These forums take a bit of "swallowing your pride" sometimes. Don't be so hostile when someone makes a suggestion. Stick around and learn something.

Mike

BTW, a troll is someone who posts something and then tries to get a flame war going, or someone who says they have "been there done that" for everything. The post about your wealth, and this line of work you are in that makes you fearless, is typical troll post. Mall ninjas are the trolls that have always got a story of how they singlehandedly took on a gang of thugs, or something dangerous like that. The whole, "I'm not afraid because of my line of work" sounds like a mall ninja.

By the way, Contrary to what might have happened between you guys, RGRAY is one hell of a guy. I asked almost the same question you did about Sebenzas and he offered to send me his to check out. I never met the guy nor dealt with him. He was just being kind hearted. Sometimes people just get off on the wrong foot with each other.:)

Just to let you know, I went back and deleted all the posts, sorry for being ugly, thanks again.

With money not a factor which where should I buy one, which one, design, small, large?

Bulldawg, if money is no object; buy a small wood inlay regular Sebenza and you will never need another folder. :)

Bulldawg, I think you should listen to TheBadGuy. If he had left after his initial troubles here then we would have lost a valuable member of this community. He has turned out well.

Don't let this little incident dissuade you from sticking around. You have no idea what kind of member you will be. Stick around and find out.

So the classic has the half moon cut out and the regular has the inclined ridges? Does that make sense, hope so?

I knew this post was headed down the wrong road..... good to see it got solved...

and yeah BG...I saw that gold coin Benza....awesome:eek:

I also saw that if you decide to carry without the clip you can purchase a "plug" to fit in the hole? correct

You've got it. There are a few other subtle differences, but nothing you'd spot casually.

I have a large and a small Sebenza and a gaggle of Benchmades. I like them all. If I were a practical man, I'd say the two Sebbies are all the knives I'd ever need and they are quite high quality. I'd have also saved myself a bunch of money by just buying the two expensive knives first. However, collecting them as I did (Benchmades first), I learned that I appreciate the design genius of Allen Elishewitz after buying the 910 Stryker. So I bought another Elishewitz designed Benchmade (the Ares) and it was great as well. Then I got the chance to purchase a used custom left-hand Elishewitz Phantom from a forumite. Wow. Bottom line is that the answer is personal for each Knut. You will never regret buying quality. - Lee
