WTS Chris Reeve MARKIV 1987
Chris Reeve South Africa vintage Mark IV so awesome!!!!
You never see these I apologize for the post I have sold a lot on eBay and others but this piece deserves a little more respect so I am trying here. Forgive my ignorance i quickly read the rules. I am just extremely excited to have this knife and it is way over my head to be honest
It has the sawtooth all along the spine
Fixed blade number 401 out of 735
The edge appears to me to be factory? Maybe has been sent back at one point I don’t know honestly.
I am second owner for sure possibly more. The blade edge is sharp still and I only see one small dull spot in the curve of the tip. It is still sharp not a chip maybe a stain of some kind. Hard to see but I took pictures of that spot
The knife is in good condition it does have some small scratches on the cap. I tried to capture them in the pictures.
The blade length and over all length are pictured it is approximately a 7” blade.
I have no box or paper work but I do have correspondence back and forth with Mathew and Anne about it’s estimated manufacture date at the Factory.
She “Anne” estimates the knife was made in 1987
Over all a great peace. Once in lifetime type piece for a serious collection.
The sheath is original and has some signs of wear along the snap and tip. Overall in good shape as well. It has wear along the strap and also the point of the sheath.
The knife will be shipped and insured best way for both parties shipping is included.
Payment is whatever the rules state here. I am a long time lurker this is my first post for sale. Honestly I have found a grail and it is exciting but really over my head.
