Chris Reeves knives = HK pistols?

It's all subjective but I associate Hk with CRK mainly because of the movie "Collateral" where Tom Cruise carries a USP.45 and pulls out a Sebenza in the night club fight scene. I also associate Kimber with Strider for no particular reason. And a Spyderco PM2 with a Glock 19 because that was my main carry for a long time.

HK and CRK couldn't be father apart in my opinion.

I would associate CRK more with a higher end 1911 maker.

Agreed, they just have nothing in common at all. How many CRK owners are here claiming HK to be the firearm "equivalent" I wonder? Really, it's an apples to oranges comparison anyway...

I think of the new semi-custom production Dan Wesson 1911s. Great quality but limited in choices.
I was going to say exactly the same thing. The fit and finish of my Sebenza reminds me of my Dan Wesson CBOB 1911.

I compare Chris Reeve knives more to Anshutz 22 rifles. Both are within my possible financial ability, but never felt the value pushed either over the top for my personal needs. But I do tend to like and buy the high-middle priced 22 rifles over most others. Those are probably more in line with ZT, the higher priced Spyderco or Benchmade knives.

Youre not very educated on the 1911 platform aye? Ive shot these 1911s out of the box ( each was cycled MINIMUM 100 rounds).

Springfield mil spec.
Rock island compact
Rock island full size
Para Ordinance OPS
STI spartan

All of them functioned FLAWLESS out of the box with zero aftermarket work.

1911s are very simple, yet a perfect design.
I prefer AMERICAN made 1911's....

Until you try out a Sig Sauer 1911, you don't know what you're missing. You will put all those over seas made 1911's away.

More like a Colt Revolver. The most custom shiniest, prettiest H&K or Sig, looks like it was made by a caveman, when compared to the extreme precision, inside and out, of a Colt Python.

I think a Colt Python is an apt comparison based on my experience.
