  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Chris Reeves Sabenza 31 (small)

Crazy about the action on the SHF. Mine is one of the smoothest knives I own, and my buddy owns a few that are all the same way. Same with all the ones I’ve messed around with at Bladeshow.

Maybe the newer ones are more dialed in? Picked mine up at Blade last year. Absolutely love this thing :D

Yea, all of mine have superb action. I have taken them all apart and cleaned and relubed them. Love me some SHF!PXL_20250701_155628088.jpgPXL_20250627_042151095.jpgPXL_20250701_235808367.jpg

Is it worth it?

Depends on what you value. In my opinion, the Chris Reeves line of folders are as good as, and probably better than, about any other rocket knife made today as a daily user . . .yegardless of embellishment, plain or fancy, they all are great, high quality knives, built to be used.

last year I bought a Large Sebenza 31 in Magnicut and gave it to our son for his 45th birthday. He loves it and it is his daily carry, every day. It is as plain as they make them.

He brought it out for ribbon cutting and package opening at his in-laws holiday gift swap a few weeks later on . . . and his brothers-in-law admired it with covetous envy . . . .which made it "worth it" to me and money well spent.

This year I bought him a lower-end, rather plain William Henry folder; Titanium framed button lock, Ironwood inlays and a subtle patterned Damascus blade. It was double the CRK. That one was "worth it" to me as well.

I wanted a Sebenza for nearly 30 years but just couldn't spend that kind of money on a knife. I finally did it and I'm very happy with it.

I have a Small Sebenza S45V love the steel, and the action and they way it feels in my hand, but I do not like the thumbstud. Overall I like my Arno Bernard Imamba better though.

I love my large 21s, but did not like the small 21, and sold the one I had. Something was wrong in how it fit my hand. However, I love my small Inkosi. I got one way back when they were introduced and have kept it ever since, and likely will always keep it. In the small size, I am team Inkosi.

Weird, I'm the opposite. I have two small 21s that are great. I owned a small Inkosi for 2 days. Then it was sold.

I have 1 (21 bocote inlay) and it's one of my favorite knives, but it's a tad small for my hands.
Of all my knives, it has the most satisfying 'click' when opened or closed, none of my other sebenzas do it.

You will never know if you don't try it. I have a small 21 and I thought it was too small. I have several large 21s that I like.

Buy a used on on this site and if you don't like it you can sell it for what you paid for it and you will have satisfied your curiosity.

I get it money is tight, but every time you use something you enjoy then it is worth it to me.

FYI - there is a dedicated CRK subforum here:
