Chris Reeves Walking Sticks

I am curious. What do people do with the CRK canes for which they pay so much? I would be afraid to use them for fear of damaging them. I am speaking here of the high prices quoted in earlier posts.

I had one of the Titanium Ball-handled walking sticks made a few years ago for my father for his retirement. It is gorgeous and very well made. You don't see many walking sticks like that that stand out as being well made and well designed. The Titanium ball is cool, the wood gorgeous and the workmanship what you would expect from CRK.

If you are wondering why people would pay so much, it is definitely the toy factor. Why would people pay $300+ for a knife that cuts only a little better than a $25 knife? Why would I pay lots for a mammoth ivory bark Mnandi with a damascus blade?(!!) Because I like toys... :D

By the way, if you see one and you want one, go for it!
