Christmas 2010, what knife will you carry?

I have it on good authority that Mrs. Santa has me a new neck knife under the tree - a Benchmade 171 BladeSports 'Chopper',too

With any luck, the mailman is going to bring the Strider SnG that I bought on BF tomorrow, just in time for Christmas. Otherwise, it's going to be the BM940. I've fallen in love with that knife all over again, after using it to cut cardboard and make a makeshift umbrella today.
 
I'm getting a TNK Strider PTCC w/Tanto blade for Christmas, so that is what I'll be carrying Christmas day. Christmas eve I'll be carrying the knife I carry every day, and that is my small Sebe Insingo.

I'll be visiting my family and wearing my special clothes for this kind of occassions. I wear jeans nearly everyday, but now I'm expected to wear my nice clothes, so I'm going light with a Victorinox alox Bantam and an alox Classic or Companion.

I find that for opening clamshell packaging, nothing beats my Kershaw Needs Work. That razor sharp wharncliffe blades gets in and zips them open.
 
My SOG Paratool with the line cutter does great on plastic clamshells, so I'll have it in my pocket on Christmas morning, probably with a Boker Wharcom.

I just spotted one of these the other day while looking for something else. It is a little larger knife than the mid-tech Rock Star? Looks really nice! Any pics showing the clip mounted? How thick is the blade, and the titanium handles? Lot of questions, no?;):D
 
Same four , in mission wallet , Strider PT & a yellow Case Sodbuster in CV , Elishewitz Ghost clipped in pocket , 3" EDFU fixed blade on belt worn horizontal carry ....

same setup for over a year , don't see a need to change what works :)

Other than a razor knife for the shop , I didn't buy a single knife in 2010.

2011 - I have my eye on a couple Bokers , and hope to score that Carson small model 4.
 
I used my Red Bone case pocket knife for my Daughters Christmas presents but I am carrying my Busse BOSS Street.

Funny story actually about yesterday, I was at work in the ER and on Thanksgiving and Christmas the way it works is that the attending physicians bring turkeys and everyone else brings other dishes. Well so we had two big turkeys and apparantly nobody brough a knife. They had been trying to carve it with a little plastic knife, and was clearly not working. My coworkers, knowing me rather well, called me in and I let them use my mini-grip and the Sere 2000, and I think I may possibly be converting a few of them rather soon :thumbup:
 
A Case gray bone 63090 Stockman, although I have been carrying it for about a month. This is now my favorite pattern by Case!
