I'm pretty sure I'm going to NEED one too.
Something that looks like a Hells Belle, or and HI version of the Cold Steel Trailmaster would be just the ticket.
I just think that the HI version would feel more "alive" than a production knife.
I think its really awesome that the kamis venture out of the "comfort zone" and make Bowies.

Nice snag on the Bowie.
A missing snap isn't hard to replace and that blade looks stunning.
If you did have a basement in your doghouse it would give you room for more---- just sayin' :-)
 
@joe68, i am pretty sure thats what sets HI apart from all other knives, being beaten out by hand, you can feel that soul in the blade. any knife would be better served being made by people like the kamis, and no machine made knife will ever come close . also auntie confirmed the kobra is mine , huzzah
 
My first "nice" $100+ knife was a trailmaster.

A year later I found HI and never had the desire to buy another large mass produced knife again:)
 
Thanks Joe! I feel bad now! but not that bad:rolleyes: They do come up on occasion but when a asare woodie comes up there is definitely a feeding frenzy! I just got lucky this time. They never last 10 minutes with twenty some odd sharks in the tank. Luckily I got an totally unexpected Christmas bonus minutes before this DOTD. I wasnt even logged on cause i just bought a 20" AK so I was being a good shark. Well that didnt last long! I didnt know what to tell my wife first? I got another Khukri or I got a bonus? She asked me "Did ya get the Khuk before the bonus or after?" Ha! Smart ain't she! Anyway it went over well. She loosened my collar a little bit:barf:

Ah yes! The Liberty Series! That Dirk was as kick in the head! Wish I'd have snagged that!
