Stopped in today at wally's place. They have Buck tins, with a small and large toothpick in them. Chinese versions with wood handles, look nice but not my think.

They also did have Kershaw, Gerber, and SOG gift sets which looked pretty promising if they are your thing. Worth a look.

Had hoped for something different this year from Buck, but in the end, glad to see they are still doing them!

WM pretty much mandates their holiday specials stay at the $20.00 mark these days, hard to do a 110/112 at that price.

Was in my local St Louis WalMart this morning looking for the tins. They didn't have them yet.
As a side note, all the guns are gone and the Ammunition was being removed from the shelves.
I asked the girl about it and she said the were just "reorganizing". Poor timing since it's hunting season.
Sure glad we are only having "peaceful" protests.

These tins have already hit the auction site....
Sadly, the seller is claiming it to be a rare set from his personal collection.
Geesh..... does anyone actually believe crap like that?

so why cant they make holiday tins for the ppl that want a better product and the chinese stuff for walmart?

I was at wallyworld tonight.....
They had 2 different tins out.

this one.... (forgot to photo, or even look at the lid side)

and this one..... which may have followed.me home....

I have an old tin (just he tin don't know what knives came in it or what year) with a stream scene (looks like spring) with the same title Bucks That Fit Your Life. It is in a frame hanging in the man bathroom. I can see a companion next to it.

Thank you for the pics. I like the way you shop, cutlery and not something frivolous like an electric razor. :)

I hadn't seen the Special Editions of the Nobleman and Colleague before:

I got home last night and regretted not getting that tin set too...
Went to town today, but my gal refused to go to wallyworld, and I wasn't going to tell her I wanted to go there for more knives.....lol

Went to my local wally world and didn't find these. All they had were some Winchester 2-pack traditionals and Camillus fixed blades.

Dang, now I need to go back and check out the toothpicks. Didn't notice (if the ones here did) it was a twin bladed model. That interests me now.

I'll have to head over to the one near me. I just recently caught the knife collecting bug.
