Too cool, Mike! Just put in my order, G Howard 3801 N Cap. . . Send me a nice one! Love the grind and finish on the obverse. As for the "diamond carbide" application on the reverse, how does it compare to the tungsten carbide edge Benchmade put on the 970ST way back when, or what Warren Thomas has been doing the last few years? Look forward to cutting with this one! If you can recommend an aftermarket sheath that fits these that would be cool too

This process is very similar to Warren's in fact we had a discussion last week.
I can give you some info on a good sheath, I will send you a pm.

Those are some wicked looking blades. I love the contrast of the finished side vs. the "rough" side. I'd love to get one, but my xmas money is all dried up!!:( I did just pick up one of your little Bailouts last week though with a one sided grind and heat colored flats with orange/black g-10. I love it:thumbup:

Kevin, if it helps, I heard from him today b/c I was asking when the one I bought had shipped and he said he had been sick for a few days and fell behind. Not surprising, it being the cold and flu season. I know when I'm down the best I can do is focus on getting better! So hope he feels better and gets back to you soon.
