Christmas deals for 12/12 --Pix, Chiruwa Ang Khola , Kagag Katne and great buys

it is indeed a very fine blade, but I dont think ive ever seen one on here that i was like " that sucks"-- that siru looks particularly fine though.

dont worry keikuru, remember that auntie is very busy, she will definitely get to you when she can,, the very best way is to just wire her the money by paypal after confirmation, this makes the email move quicker, but yeah it takes a bit, be patient, there is nobody in the knife business who has more personal customer service than yangdu and karda( in my humble opinion)-- if you do this , be absolute you include your name, address, the reason for payment all that jazz --crystal omg spare the new guy

Sorry, I have a deep and profound respect for Himalayan Imports for their customer service, and for the love that the kukri fans here have towards auntie and that she has back to us, and I can imagine how busy she is, especially around this time of year. I have been a lurker for many months and never once dreamed I would be able to afford anything except an especially cheap blemish, however I won the lottery last night and won about $12,000. I have never had more than $400 in my bank, so as you can imagine I am quite nervous and wanted to order straight away fearing that the money would somehow disappear if I didn't spend it, which is why I came across as impatient. I am much calmer now, but I am very much looking forward to owning one of those beautiful, slender Sirupatis to go along with my rough and ready 9" kukri that I got from a lesser provider. I am very excited. I normally have many bad things happen across Christmas such as deaths in my family and to have won money, and to have my brother also win a legal case when he got injured at work so he can now afford to buy his children a good Christmas, it's just been a very fortunate time of year which is a nice change. I don't condone gambling or wasting money on the lottery though. It's the only time I've ever won anything big in my life. I'm so unlucky that for my 21st birthday my brother got me 21 scratch cards with a 1/3 chance to win and I didn't win once.

Sorry for sharing my life story, but I am just so happy, especially since you more experienced members seem to think it is a nice khukuri! :)

nah man i was just trying to help out, I remember how I was the first time I ordered a knife on the forums, you did not come off as impatient.

also that is as awesome as it can be ,wow !!!! i think its a great thing to buy for yourself as you can see from my avatar , I actually sold a rare pistol to buy my khukris lol , its so nice to hear about someone getting pulled out of a grim situation , so often it goes the other way, could not be happier for you and your bro.

its so cool you can finally do this, its all but yours already!!! , set up a paypal account if you dont have one already, makes paying very easy ! after auntie gives you her paypal addy you can be a shark like the rest of us, ship her money with what you want , skip emails ! money talks!

(of course you know how to paypal, but yeah just wait for the payment addy and its on)-- and dont be sorry for sharing, i love reading about people actually having a good run.

Thanks! :)

I'll be buying stuff for my family too, and giving money back that they lent me when I needed it of course, but this is the one thing I've wanted most of all.

I have a paypal account set up but I'll wait for the e-mail from auntie then pay it once I get the invoice.

huzzah i say, yeah and keep some set aside for the future , you may see a real wonder on the DOTD, ive seen really great unique knives here, not all are just siru's and chits and angs etc ( still looking for my hasiya)

Yeah, I really love the unique knives they do! And the swords! Of course I'll be setting aside the money for the future but I definitely want to buy something. If I miss out on this deal then I can always find one another day. :)

Your too kind CrystalEyes! Your kindness is the only reason I have my most favorite Khuk of all! 21" Single fuller Chitlangi!

Wow that siru has a chiruwa horn handle and it's 23 oz. Im giving you guys 12 hours before I send an email on it.
Congrats Keikuru That Siru is unique! They dont come along very often with the Chiruwa handle.

Thanks guys. I have paid auntie now. I am so happy, I'm officially a HI kukri owner (hopefully)!

Lol yes I remember that chitlangi it was only like 27 oz. still kicking myself. I generally do that if im iffy on funds. I would've tried to get this siru right away had I not gotten one like it a month ago.

I understand that for sure! If I ever have to let her go your first on the list:thumbup:

Agreed but to me certain blades possess an "it" factor where u can almost sense the magnificence through looking at a picture. Either that or ms. Yangdu has supernatural photography skill.

CAK found a loving home, thank you

There you go... This one was floating around without attention. I was wondering when Auntie would re-post it in another DOTD.
