Christmas deals for 12/19 -- Pix, Kal Bhairav, KLVUK, Chainpuri and awesome buys

They are easy to sharpen. They have enough weight where you can cleaver through the bones (NO ITS NOT A BONECUTTER!) with one whack and since they are so stiff they make short time of scaling them big thick scales on fish like this! Makes a mess of the kitchen but a fine knife indeed! Did you miss out on this ntt? I thought you got it?
tks for your concern. I m lucky to secure the knife . Looks like u are having lots of fun with this knife ! U re using it like a medium size Chinese cleaver for small bones. Guess I will baby it initially since I ve cheap cleaver for such jobs initially.

I have owned a kumar karda for about 5 months, and they are truly great, I really like the R-10 though, or the ycs karda by itself, all of the small knives really are awesome.... I look forward to the day when HI offers a full kitchen set with work belt, Cleaver, 2 kardas, 1 AK bowie butcher knife, sounds like a package to me, need some forged forks and spoons with sharpened handles too .....

Well I got confirmation from Auntie last night. Kal is coming to protect me and mine. I'm preparing a place to hang him today. Snowed in on the hill and snowing hard still. Not a bad thing. Hope the mail gets through but I'm doubtful.

Wonder if Kal will work as well from the blade rack or if I should hang him on the front door. I kind of prefer the knife rack in the man cave so I can look at him and have someone to talk to ya know? Sometimes get lonely out there in a nice sort of way. Peace and quiet are a nice thing.

I have a talking BEA Arthur blow up doll I will sell you.,.......it's the Golden Girls addition I might add. She's good company and scares off every intruder under the sun.

Son, I didn't know you was prowling for the mask, hope I didn't rob ya of it. I missed two chainpuri's and I thought maybe Kal would bestow some good things upon me.

I'm done for now, the coin purse is empty and has a hole in the bottom representing my past errors that still require clean up.

So why do I check here every 10 minutes waiting for todays DOD? Hmmmm. Anybody got an answer for that one?

Steely, I'm gonna send you some pictures a little later. Keep the light on for me.

LOL, no problem at all:) I have always passed on the masks because 1.) I need to watch what I spend;) and 2.) My three year old might get freaked out by one. That said, now that we have some awesome backstory on them, I might have to put an order in for one at the first of the year:)

Wish our dreams come true! Cheers!

the chef package should also offer a kal bhairab mask to intimidate your peppers

Well Kal Bhairav arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon. He's very cool for sure and a striking resemblance to myself.

He fit perfectly in my preplanned location on the rack and I was very lucky. He just clears the wall when I slide the rack back into the hole. Might even put a piece of felt on his nose to protect it. Another nano and I would have had to hang him somewhere else. I figure if I ever fill the rack I can hang him above the closet door too. Still be a good spot.

The Pala Karda arrived a few days prior and I hung it on the rack although I suspect it will see the kitchen from time to time.

My son wanted to know if our house was cursed now, I told him weedhoppersan, just the opposite. We are now fully protected. Are you in good hands?

Very cool Bawanna! Between Kal and the Tommy gun I believe you are secure! Looks great up there. I guess Kal means black? Im seriously thinking about getting one myself. Dont think i can afford the green one but it sure is cool!

Cool beans Bawanna, looks great! Now if you could just drill out the eyes . . . you could wear it to work! This would keep all of us regular homely folks from being jealous of your rugged good looks.
