Amazing deals. If anyone would like to get me something for Christmas I would be willing to take any of these. :D

Bura's bowies are starting to grow on me, and I'm not a bowie kinda guy. Really nice offerings Yangdu!

I would love an antler handled R-10:eek: Actually, i'd take anything in antler. my favorite handle material:)

That udda looks fantastic. So many choices, so little money:(

That katunje is the little jewel here. The YCS handle carving is getting even more intricate it seems like.

More and more I like the Bura Bowie. Never could get 100% behind the fine 18" Crow, and sold mine, but love this blade/handle combo.

AND really like the R10. Always thought the R5 and R6 were the best of the R series, but this looks very good.

Can anyone tell me if the guard on the Bowie is square? Round? Hard to see here.

Tnx.

Norm

Email sent for the Uddha Sword -- outstanding deal!! Update: I got confirmation and payment has been made, the Uddha Sword is mine.

That YCS is beautiful. It has lots of belly, almost Pen-like. The Bura Bowie and R10 are also eye-catching; I could really go overboard on blades like these.

We think You are Correct, Sir Karda!!
Looks much like the Tsuba on my Ev Kat...
The Tsuba looks very much "eye" shaped on the Kat...
Nice in Our Opinion

Come on, Dave - we know you love your job. A "smile" wouldn't be out of place here, ya know. ;) :D

I'm likin' that YCS...I've got to familiarize the wife with this forum, so I can put in some Christmas & birthday requests.

Off topic, but does HI make anything along the lines of kitchen knives? I like the idea of good handmades in the kitchen.

thx - cpr

As someone pointed out a while back, those Uddha swords are like a chef's knife from Hell.

Then there's that cleaver. . .

Now that is just the justification I needed to get Uddha ... I can't believe I missed the original suggestion, or moreover, think of it myself! :D  :p
