Sure is OK for Guys to say Gorgeous, Ed, especially when you get the neat stuff from here:), there is a warmth attached to them.

I hate to do this, but is the handle on the Tibetan... crooked? It looks out of line to me.... then again, i'm looking at a very small computer screen...

I'm sitting here at my 12 inch Fujitsu laptop and that handle on the Tibetan sword sure looks off axis to me as well. Maybe Yangdu uses a wide angle lens? Sometimes that'll make long objects away from the center of a pic look bent or crooked.

If you look at the lower pics, it doesnt look crooked.
Anyways theres only one way to know, if your interested.

Email Yangdu and ask her.

Whoa..... Just got back from vacation & am totally surprised to see this.... Hard to believe that Tibetan sword is still on the board! I'm tellin' ya, folks.... they are some unique & hella well-made items - very impressive. When I unpacked mine outside of the post office, the mailman came out to check it out. Then he went inside & brought out his coworkers to see it. Then some customers that drove up asked to check it out... before long there was a small crowd admiring the piece. Somebody better snag this one soon or I will come up with some excuse to have two of them!

I think the handle on a Tibetan is offset a bit towards the spine.... that is, the centerline of the handle doesn't line up with the longditudinal midline of the blade, but is shifted slightly away from the edge & connects a bit closer towards the spine. Thats not a mistake on kami Sher's part - its how they are made. Balances better that way. Mine is built that way & feels real good in the hand.... you can see the offset here:

I got my Kerambit over the weekend.....this is SUCH a nice little knife! :)

Ain't they though!
Which one? The neem wood handled? or the horn?

I got an elk antler a while back....still in love with it.
Wanna get me one of each someday....lol

Just finished sharpening my horn-handled kerambit last night. Brought even the false edge to a 0.5 micron convex edge very carefully by hand with a padded sanding block. This sucker is SHARP!

Its a good-sized blade in a compact configuration... I'm going to try modding the sheath for horizontal belt-carry & use it for my EDC.

The M-43 and purse arrived at home today.. @ days to ship from Reno to Nashville, wow!

Alas, I am in Virginia Beach VA and the stuff's home in Tennessee, but the family assures me that everything is beautiful... All I have is cell-phone pics sent by the 'missus so far.

How'd my 1st attempt at shark-ery go???
