These Keshar Lal Villager Utility Knives had arrived here in recent shipment from Nepal.
The Aarupate wood is found in eastern part of Nepal like Vojpure and Dharan area and this wood is strong.
Scary sharp blades!

You go! Slugger! Didn't think I'd ever see this day. Excellent choice on #1 too. When you get it bring it up for show and tell. I can check it out and you can check out the new hidey knife rack.
Maybe after first of year, we're all busy this time of year but whenever.

Make sure you order a Kami sheath for the 20 bucks from auntie too unless you plan to send it to my man Pugs for a dress.

Congrats Slugger! Where the heck is everyone? Man them KLVUKS would all be gone last month! Im betting they will be gone this week anyway. That #1 is the one I wanted but my wife knows im about to make an order payday for a big chopper so she wont let me have it:grumpy: So US2 must be near Bawanna?

Maybe, just maybe I finally got one? Could it be true? Sure hope so. I've been striking out every at bat for weeks. I better get me some mineral oil lined up . . .

ndoghouse: Please please please tell your wife how much I appreciate her wisdom!! hahah

Bawanna: YEAH I hope! Looking forward to another visit and thank you again for teaching me about these awesome choppers! Maybe we should put them to work and hack on some wood?

Yeah we need Khukri interventions every once in a while! Sounds like you got it if no one has replied for any KLVUKs yet. Im surprised they are still there. A few months ago Aunti had 15 to 20 or more of them or so and they disappeared fast as she could post them.

Yup, me and slugger are in the same stomping grounds. He's taller, walks on his hind legs, not quite as good looking as me.
If it don't warm up soon I'm definitely gonna run out of wood that's for sure. Hope I don't have to resort to tearing the siding off the neighbors house to stay warm.

What kinda finish is on these work horses? I've seen them on here, but usually they're gone in. 60 seconds. I'm guessing these are an everyday kinda blade for chores and such?

You got it! It's actually not a finish at all but basically forging scale. I don't know much about it but it's tough as nails. These are definitely go to users. Everyone no matter how many khuks they have should have one of these.

Take a licking and keep on ticking, toss it in the truck, and go. I love mine as well as any of them. I use it, clean it, oil the handle but also abuse it. It holds up just fine and dandy.

A terrific value along with the kami medical fun sheaths for 20 bucks. They are darn nice sheaths worth much more than 20 bucks for sure.

I'm kinda shocked that no one else has stepped up? ndoghouse I spent my jr high years about 120 mi due East of you. Wish I had one of these blades back then . . . running around in the woods with my blowgun and pellet gun. I miss those days.

Bawanna, I walk on my forelegs when my hind legs get tired.

Thanks Bawanna. Which one should I get of the remaining 4? I like #3 and #5. Anyone have any thoughts? I like the handle on 5 for sure.

Actually im from Beaumont Port Arthur area. Wildwood/Village Mills area to be exact. I spent most of my life riding dirt bikes on Village Creek with my shotgun strapped to my bike. If I wansnt on my dirt bike i wasin a canoe. We would put a canoe in at Wildwood campgrounds and get my dad to pick us up a few days later in Beaumont. I wish i would have had a Khuk then too. I did have a machete! Blowguns are very cool! I was pretty good with one myself. Now Im old and cant see well enough tho:D

Im guessing Bawanna will like no. 5. It has the contrasting wood colors! Am I right?

Crap I just sent an email for # 5, hope I'm not on Tedwards bad side now. FWIW I like # 3 very much now that I look at it. I went with 5 just cause it's the shortest. Thinking of my son for a back pack / hunting kit knife.

3 is same weight and only half an inch longer. Better act fast they are going fast.

You caused this didn't you? I actually asked my son casually and he picked # 5 first and then maybe 2. I picked 5 first and then # 3.

Looks like 1&3 are spoken for.

If you weren't ahead of me on 5, go for 4, it's an ounce lighter and still 15"'s. Should be nice. Handle looks solid and the blade looks good. If you got 5 before me, I'm happy for you, I really am. I should have checked before I emailed.
